| I must admit F1 dose not hold any interest for me now , I used to be a avid fan in the 80's and 90's and I don't really know why I lost interest in it but like a lot of sports nowadays its all about money rather than the sport itself I maybe wrong but its just not the same as it was back then and earlier. | |

| I have watched a few F3 races and yes they seem to be a bit more thrilling than F1 and I also like the look of the A1 racing and the way everyone is basically even on the cars they use it brings back the skill of the driver rather than who has the most powerful car with all the bells and whistle that go with it . This is not saying there is no talent in F1 it still take all their skill and the balls to push the car as hard as possible to be first round the track, I just like the idea of every driver being on the same level | |

| Not to keen on mindless violence but people being at the peek of fitness and being able to have a reaction time the same as a blink of an eye now thats apealling when you think that modern F1 cars can do zero to a hundred and back to zero under six seconds and the delevop so much down force that at 125mph they can travel unside down in a tunnel that well gives me a chill | |

| Very true M8 lets face it anyone who puts them selves though that amount of pressure in motor sport has to be not only at the peak of fitness but also has to be mentally fit, lets face it to do 60 / 70 plus laps at the speeds and Geforce they feel put a massive demand on their bodies and minds, and I take my hat off to these guys as it takes a lot of dedication and hard work to get to where they are, and as for the average Joe on the street who thinks I can do that with the attitude that its easy are in for a big shock.
Anyone can drive a car but only a few can drive a racing car and there are even less who can drive at the very top of their sport.

| its not mindless violence m8 try jiu jitsu thats more like chess u have to think where ur limbs/neck /clothing r at all times or u will get tapped you need to be able to defend and attack at the same time it looks gay i know but its 1 of the hardest sports i ve ever tried i use to try and over power every1 till i got in with a 20 stone pro polish mma fighter, i was just under 16 stone he just rolled me into a ball i could nt do owt. then a guy who looked about 11 stone had him tapping in less than a minute, its all about technique and setting up 1 move after another u cant just be good at striking or ground cos u ll get beat in the early days it was a bit mindless but now u have to be good at every aspect i apriciate f1 drivers and the skill but i dont see the enjoyment of watching them drive round for 2 hours i cant watch football any more thats just garbage now getting in to rugby leauge seems to be more honesty on the pitch and no ego's | |

| At the end of the day all sport needs some degree of mind and body control and I know a lot of people think combat sports (boxing, martial arts, etc) are just mindless distruction of another person but on the flip side its also teaches self control.
Brett I agree with you rugby anyday I used to play for my secoundary school team and loved it but back to the future of F1 I feel it needs to take a step back a decade or two and get back the excitement that it used to have.
